A family company, founded in 1995 and still family-owned today.
Perennial Gardens began in 1995, looking after a handful of gardens in Calgary’s older neighbourhoods. Three decades later it is still a family company, now led by Kevin Clarke.
Over thirty seasons we have learned what grows in Calgary clay, what survives a chinook, and when the first frost reaches each street. Many of our clients have been with us for more than 20 years.
Along the way, Perennial Gardens has twice been named Best Garden Company in Calgary.
A garden is never finished
A garden is a living thing. It changes every week of the season, and in Calgary it can change in a single afternoon. Looking after it well means paying attention: to the soil, to the light, to the way each plant grows from one year to the next.
Perennial Gardens has been part of my life for a long time, and what I learned early on is simple: arrive when you said you would, be honest about the price, and do good work every time.
That is why I choose the people on my team with great care. Every gardener who comes to your home knows plants, understands our climate, and treats your garden as if it were their own. Because they know what each plant needs, the work is done right the first time.
For me, the goal is simple: a garden that looks beautiful in every season, and that grows stronger and healthier every year it is in our care. When a client steps outside in June and their garden takes their breath away, we have done our job.
